Nel Maggio 1996 vinsi una borsa FULBRIGHT (cies.org/grantee/sergio-de-rosa). Venne assegnata dalla "Commissione Paritetica per gli Scambi Culturali tra l'Italia e gli Stati Uniti d'America". Con questa borsa, trascorsi un periodo di ricerca e studio presso "The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering", Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. La collaborazione fu con il Prof. K. A. Cunefare. 

I got in May 1996 a FULBRIGHT grant (cies.org/grantee/sergio-de-rosa). It was given by the "Commissione Paritetica per gli Scambi Culturali tra l'Italia e gli Stati Uniti d'America". With this grant, a period of study and research was spent at "The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering", GeorgiaInstitute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. The collaboration was with the Prof. K. A. Cunefare.
